How to brew:

Take 3-5g tea leaves in teapot or gaiwan.

First pour: 100-110ml boiling water (100°C), immediately discard 

Second pour: 100-110 ml boiling water, steep 20 seconds slowly increase steeping time between intervals 

Subsequent pours: Add 5-10 seconds per infusion

 

Note:

Tea to water ratio: 1:40 (adjustable)

Leaves yield 6+ infusions

Specialty: Da Hong Pao, also known as Big Red Robe, comes from the Wuyi Mountains in China and is defined as rock/cliff tea. It’s one of the most prized Oolong Teas and has a higher oxidation level with extensive charcoal roasting.
